About Walkies & Wags
Our Story
Walkies & Wags started from a simple belief: every dog deserves a walk that’s more than just a quick lap around the block. After spending three years working at a rescue centre, Jake Mitchell saw first-hand how important exercise, socialisation, and routine are for a dog’s wellbeing.
In 2021, Jake turned that passion into a business, starting with just two regular clients in Clifton. Word spread quickly — mostly through muddy paw prints and happy, exhausted dogs — and Walkies & Wags now serves families across six areas of Bristol.
We keep our group sizes small (never more than four dogs) because we believe every dog in our care deserves individual attention. Whether it’s a high-energy Border Collie who needs to burn off steam or a nervous rescue learning to trust again, we tailor every walk to suit your dog.
